Regular & Occasional Clients Welcome!

REDUCED RATES

$14 per walk/visit for 3-7 visits per week. Includes a full 30-minute visit, which may be spent any way you like: a nice, long walk for your dogs or a combined walk/potty break for dogs and puppies; TLC for your cats, and other services. No surcharge for time of day or weekends.

REGULAR RATES

$16 per walk/visit for1-2 visits per week. Includes a full 30-minute visit, which may

be spent any way you like: a nice, long walk for your dogs or a combined walk/potty break for dogs and puppies; TLC for your cats, and other services. No surcharge for time of day or weekends.

CATS-ONLY HOUSEHOLDS

$13 per visit for 3-7 visits per week for 1-3 cats, min. 20-30 minute visits

$15 per visit for 1-2 visits per week for 1-3 cats, min. 20-30 minute visits

MULTIPLE PET HOMES

There is usually no charge for multiple pet homes, since most services can be easily completed by a single walker/pet sitter during your regular scheduled visit.

An additional fee may apply for multiple-pet homes with an increased level of difficulty; e.g., homes with giant-breed dogs and large dogs not used to walking on a regular basis/very strong pullers, and homes with four or more pets.

Add-on minutes (fifty cents per minute) are available if you'd like your dog to have a longer walk, or for households with multiple pets requiring longer visits.

Mileage

No fuel surcharge for our immediate service area of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Mentor Headlands, North Mentor, and Grand River.

Fuel surcharge approximately ten cents per mile for areas outside your walker/sitter's primary service area. Pet Taxi to and from parks, fifty cents per minute/10 cents per mile. Average mileage fee $1-$2.

Inclement Weather

We walk dogs year round, except for rare instances of extreme, inclement weather; e.g., hail, lightning, very strong winds, torrential downpours, blizzards, hazardous wind chill, or when client's usual walk route is made treacherous due to ice or heavy snow.

During inclement weather, your walker/pet sitter will take your dog(s) out for a potty break, or two if needed, and spend the remaining time refreshing basic commands, food and water check-and-fill, and showering your dogs with tons of TLC!

FREE DOGGIE SLEEPOVERS

Regular and occasional dog-walking clients, ask about our Free Doggie Sleepovers, our way of saying thank you for letting us walk your dogs!

Free Doggie Sleepovers with two walks per day at our regular rates (no multiple-dog discounts).

First two walks, first day, charged at our regular rate with $7 per walk for a second dog. Second day and each consecutive day thereafter, a maximum charge of $28 per day for one dog/two walks per day; and $35 per day for two dogs/two walks per day. Each day's walks include a full 24 hours of exceptional complimentary home pet care and a complimentary Doggie Sleepover!

Free Doggie Sleepovers include a full 24 hours at our residence or the residence of one of our experienced, bonded and insured pet sitters in a safe, dog-loving home atmosphere, with plenty of supervised indoor/outdoor exercise, playtime, special menu items and soothing nature sounds at bedtime! Free Doggie Sleepovers are limited to no more than two dogs at any one time at your pet sitter's residence. Advanced notice recommended, particularly for multiple consecutive nights.

Important Note: Lake County Dog Walkers uses terminology that is consistent with our primary area of service, which is dog walking and pet sitting, and do not charge for occasional dog guests at our residence. We are not a dog daycare, kennel or boarding facility. Charges are for dog walking from our residence or the client's residence; pet sitting at the client's residence; and other pet services listed on our web site. Doggie Sleepovers are always complimentary. This complimentary service is extended at our discretion depending on your dog's temperament, breed, overall health and other factors.

Skipped walks during any given week due to extreme inclement weather or client late cancellation will--if less than three walks per week--bump your dog-walking rates for that week from reduced to regular. For prepaying clients, the previous week's bump will be charged with your next prepayment.

We're very sorry, but we do not provide services for dogs that have a known history of biting, dog-dog or dog-people aggression, nor Staffordshire Terriers, pit bulls, pit bull mixes, wolf hybrids, and some guard-dog breeds. Friendly, socialized dogs only! ;)

NATIONAL HOLIDAYS

National Holidays (including Christmas and New Years Eve day): $10 surcharge per visit. Please call ahead; we fill up fast for the holidays!
